Action for International Women's Day on March 8th, 2023
On the occasion of International Women's Day, our integration and education center gUG invited all schoolgirls, but also women who expressed an interest in an exchange of information or nice conversations, to an extensive breakfast. This breakfast was organized by our dedicated teachers. All participating women were enthusiastic about our campaign.
Carnival celebration on 02/20/2023
helau... helau... helau...
On Shrove Monday, the integration and education center gUG celebrated carnival extensively in all classes and groups.
Afterwards there was a lot of dancing, laughing and celebrating to cool music. Full of anticipation, the children await the next carnival.
Musical early education
Now get over it immediately every Friday in the time of 12:45 p.m until 1:30 p.m early musical education for children under the age of 6 takes place in our integration and education center gUG. Our music teacher Mr. Schneider, with the support of our teachers, teaches the children how to play various musical instruments and sing children's songs. The children and teachers are already looking forward to the next music lessons and can hardly wait to get in touch with musical instruments again or to play with them.

School cat Zamba
On January 10th, 2023, the gUG integration and education center welcomed managing director Adam Anders' cat to their team.
The tomcat Zamba - he is 8 years old - now likes to relieve the stress of all employees. You can imagine that there is a lot of stress in a constantly expanding society. But a little cuddle for dear Zamba, which he is happy about, has a good effect on the well-being of the employees.
Studies also show that an office frequented by animals is quieter and more productive.

Surprise effect on 11/28/2022
On the occasion of the 95th birthday of the grandmother of the managing director of the integration and training center gUG, a nice surprise was organized for the lovely woman.
In a "secret mission" shortly after the start of classes, many children, students, also adult students and teachers of the integration and education center gUG flocked to the managing director's grandmother and waited eagerly for her to greet her at her 95-year-old to congratulate birthday.
The senior citizen didn't actually want to celebrate her birthday in a big way, but she was very happy about the surprise organized by her grandson.
Songs were sung on her day of honor and she was presented with a beautiful bouquet of flowers. This birthday will definitely remain an unforgettable, wonderful memory for the grandmother of the managing director, but also for all those involved.
St. Martin on 11/11/2022
around the hTo commemorate the hasty Martin of Tours - he is one of the best-known and most popular saints - the managing director Mr. Adam Anders followed the custom of sending mares and pretzels both to his teachers and to the students of all German courses taking place on this day as well as to all children and caregivers in childcare.
Halloween party on 10/31/2022
On 10/31/2022 there was in the Integration and Education Center gUG a great Halloween party.
WeCamp 2022 in the Unperfekthaus on September 9th, 2022
Our integration and training center gUG was happy to take part in the WeCamp 2022 in the Unperfekthaus on September 9th, 2022. First there was the opportunity to introduce ourselves at the round of introductions, and then our integration and education center gUG had an information stand in room 304 of the Unperfekthaus. It was a really successful event, for which we would like to thank Ms. Monika Rintelen and Mr. Reinhard Wiesemann!
We haveWe were also pleased that a day later new registrations were made at our integration and training center gUG.
Major event on August 24th, 2022 on the occasion of the Independence Day of Ukraine
On the occasion of the Independence Day of Ukraine, a major event was held by our integration and education center gUG on August 24th, 2022. The program included moving children's dances, interesting plays and comedy. There were also handicrafts, painting and games. Over 500 refugees from Ukraine attended this event and everyone enjoyed it equally. At this point we would like to thank Mr. Reinhard Wiesemann, who made this event possible.
Teacher excursion on 09.07.2022
On 07/09/2022 Our vice-principal, Ms. Alkaed, took a coach to Warburg with several teachers and employees in glorious weather.
A big Christian summer festival took place there, to which everyone was cordially invited.
The teachers and employees of the integration and education center had a lot of fun both during the trip and on site.
There was something for everyone, for example there was a diverse stage program and for the children there was also a wonderful children's program.
The physical well-being was also taken care of, there were sweet and savory dishes from all over the world.
We thank Christi Pax Church for this invitation to a wonderful celebration!
Excursion on 06/30/2022 to Movie Park
On 06/30/2022 we drove with several students and accompanying persons at 8.00 a.m. from the meeting point Integration and Education Center gUG to the Movie Park in Bottrop.
The students formed groups of 4 to 8 and were able to explore the well-attended Movie Park.
There were numerous roller coasters, slides and water boats.
There were also many different shops and stores.
There really was something for every taste in the Movie Park.
We really enjoyed the day at Movie Park Germany and we are all already looking forward to our next visit!
Excursion on June 28, 2022 to Beck Castle
On 06/28/2022 the children and their own supervisors were together in Schloss Beck. There was a lot to discover there. In addition to numerous play equipment, playgrounds and fairground rides, it was above all exciting to go through the "scary cellar".
It was a wonderful and eventful day for all students.
Excursion on 06/27/2022 to the Kettelerhof
The highlights of the integration and education center include the excursions, e.g. B. to the Ketteler Hof. It started on a sunny morning. The students were even allowed to go unaccompanied in small groups. There was always a contact point for them at the entrance. An all-round successful and extremely varied offer made the hours of the stay go by far too quickly. This wonderful experience will be remembered for a long time by the students and supervisors.
Visit to the WeFestival on May 27th, 2022 in the Kreuzeskirche
That on 05/27/2022 In our opinion, the WeFestival that took place was a great event. But this festival also had an important peculiarity, since it sent a sign of solidarity with all refugees suffering from war into the world. There were interesting speeches as well as an expressive dance show and various musical performances. And the Integration and Education Center gUG thanks Reinhard Wiesemann and Ms. Monika Rintelen for the invitation to this unique festival.
Healthy breakfast on 05/20/2022
bottomr the topic to be learned "healthy nutrition". on 05/20/2022 an extensive healthy breakfast with the students in the integration and education center gUG. We are of the opinion that a delicious breakfast definitely contributes to the motivation of all participants. And it is simply more fun to learn the German language in this context.
Excursion to Villa Hügel on May 6th, 2022
The trip to Villa Hügel was able to arouse great interest in the culture of our city among the 20 schoolchildren who took part. Her attention was focused both on the tour of the main house and the inspection of the small house.
And the subsequent walk through the extensive, well-kept park in sunny weather rounded off the visit to Villa Hügel.
Then we went to Lake Baldeney. There, the students treated themselves to an ice cream while there were some sights to be discovered. Everyone had a lot of fun on this excursion, as the photos taken show.
Visit to the information stand of the Working Group for Self-Help Disabled People in Essen e. V. on May 3rd, 2022
It was important to our managing director Adam Anders to visit the AGSBM information stand on 05/03/2022 to show that equality for people with disabilities is important to the integration and education center gUG. In addition, he was able to personally convey his appreciation for the work of the AGSBM in a conversation with Mrs. Angela Ströter - chairwoman of the association. Mr. Anders fully agrees with Ms. Ströter that everyone should be more considerate and work to break down barriers so that everyone can participate more.
Invitation to break the fast on April 29, 2022 from Ruhrdialog e. V. and Intercultural Assistance e. V
On 04/29/2022 During Ramadan, our integration and education center gUG - represented by both managing directors - accepted the invitation from Ruhrdialog e. V. and Intercultural Assistance e. V. to break the fast. This took place in the VielRespektZentrum, and delicious food and drinks were provided for physical well-being. There were also good conversations and it was a very nice evening.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank the above-mentioned associations for the invitationG.
Preparation for the ZAPs in the period from 19.04. - 04/22/2022
From 19.04. until 04/22/2022 more than 60 students took part in the preparation for the ZAPs.
The lessons took place in the Gustav-Heinemann-Gesamtschule. There, the students were well prepared by our teachers for the ZAPs, so it can be assumed that the final exams will also be passed successfully. At this point we would like to thank Mr. Lambach and Mr. Kaufmann for the organization and their commitment to the students as well as our good cooperation.
Invitation to break the fast from Lord Mayor Thomas Kufen
As part of Ramadan, our integration and training center gUG - represented by both managing directors - was invited by Lord Mayor Thomas Kufen to break the fast on the 22nd floor of Essen Town Hall.
Numerous politicians, the city administration and other institutions accepted the invitation and it was a very nice evening with delicious food, drinks and the opportunity to exchange ideas.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank Mr. Kufen once again for his invitation.
It is with deep sadness that we say goodbye to our colleague
Mrs. Nada Sapty,
who died unexpectedly today on April 8th at the age of 57.
Mrs. Sapty worked as a teacher in the integration and education center gUG.
We have come to appreciate Ms. Sapty as a committed, reliable and always helpful colleague and we will always have fond memories of her.
Our deepest sympathy goes to her family and all relatives.

Clean magic campaign from 18.03. - 03/19/2022
Started with a lot of fun and motivation on Friday, March 18, 2022, our 3 to 6 year olds collecting garbage on Rottstrasse. And on 03/19/2022 our students, some 4-year-olds were also there, continued the campaign. A total of over 240 children/young people took part in the Clean Magic campaign. At times everyone was amazed at what was found, e.g. B. even a bank card, which of course was returned to the owner.
We are always happy to support these campaigns, as it is also important for us to promote positive environmental behavior and create awareness of cleanliness.

Meeting for cooperation on March 2nd, 2022 with the Am Rathaus daycare center
On 03/02/2022found a meeting in the wonderful daycare center Am Rathaus with the very dear daycare manager
Mrs. Iris Müller instead. We were warmly welcomed by Mrs. Müller. As soon as we entered the day care center - it is very cozy and homely - we felt very comfortable and in good hands. Ms. Müller showed us all the rooms that we can also use if necessary. The day care center even has its own children's restaurant, where all the children set the table and eat together. Mrs. Müller treats every child like her own child and is very committed to all children. Children's rights are taken very seriously at the Am Rathaus daycare center. Each group has a group spokesperson and children's conferences planned by the children and adults are held as needed.
Now, together with the Kinthe day care center Am Rathaus carry out many nice activities and projects. We thank Mrs. Müller very much for the time she took for us and for the friendliness and openness she showed us.
Carnival celebration on 02/28/2022
On 02/28/2022 (Carnival Monday) we celebrated carnival like every year. With music and lots of games as well as some treats, the decorated classes/groups finally celebrated again.
Exchange of information on February 24th, 2022 with the day care center Lysegang 18
On 02/24/2022 a joint meeting took place in the municipal day care center Lysegang 18 with the day care center manager Ms. Burdack and the day care center plus specialist. The meeting was about presenting our integration and education center, getting to know each other and exchanging ideas on where we can support each other. Ms. Burdack showed us the newly built and very modern day care center with an integrated family center and informed us that the day care center looks after more than 100 children. The day-care center used to be above the former main pool and is now in the immediate vicinity of Elisenpark in the Ostviertel.
Meeting for cooperation on February 16th, 2022 with the municipal day care center Sachsenring 110 a
On 02/16/2022 a joint meeting took place in the municipal day-care center Sachsenring 110 a with the day-care center manager Ms. Buczinsky. The meeting was about the fact that our integration and education center would like to cooperate with the municipal day care center at Sachsenring 110a. Mrs. Buczinsky showed the rector or the educational director Adam Anders and the child care worker Mrs. Gulai the beautiful and large day-care center.
The day-care center has large and varied rooms, which we will also use. On the one hand there is a well-stocked library, which the children regularly use as a lending library, on the other hand there is a studio in which the kids are given the opportunity to experiment with a wide range of materials, to design and to live out their creativity. A gym is also offered to meet the need for movement, which is known to be quite large in children. We are already looking forward to a good cooperation with the Sachsenring 110 a day care center.
Visit to the central library in Essen on January 22nd, 2022
On 01/22/2022 a small class from the integration and education center was allowed to visit the central library of the city of Essen. There, the library team first showed the huge selection of books for children. In addition, it was explained exactly how to borrow a book correctly. At the very end, the children were allowed to choose and borrow books on their own. The class teachers, Ms. Issa and Ms. Alkasem, organized the visit to the library.
Meeting for cooperation on January 17th, 2022 with the Catholic day care center St. Anno
On 01/17/2022 a meeting took place in the Catholic daycare center in St. Anno with the head of the daycare center, Ms. Moritz. This meeting was also about cooperation. Ms. Moritz also showed us her beautiful rooms. This day-care center also has a very well thought-out concept. Once again we were impressed by the great day care center. Many other ventures and projects are now to follow. The beautiful day care center is in a quiet and beautiful location in Essen-Stoppenberg. In addition, it is also planned that our children can visit the day care center. We are already looking forward to a good cooperation and would like to thank Ms. Moritz for the great tour.

Christmas party on December 24th, 2021
On Friday, December 24th, 2021, this year's employee Christmas party took place.
Mr. Adam Anders and Mario Anders opened the buffet.
The Nur Pastanesi catering service on Krayer Str. provided our employees with very good food. There were various salads, casseroles, potato gratin, different types of cheese, sausage and other cold cuts and for dessert there were delicious homemade tarts and cakes. There was a lot of celebration and singing.
Concert on December 24th, 2021
On Friday, December 24th, 2021 there was wonderful music from the Boy Scouts of St. Joseph's Church. The great experience was organized by Mr. Fadi and Mr. Doumit.
With over 20 scouts, the audience was taken on an exciting journey with over 200 people
through the world of Christmas music. We were very fortunate to be there this year!
Many thanks to the scouts of St. Josef parish for organizing the concert.
Christmas service on December 24th, 2021
At the 12/24/2021 a service took place in the Pax Christi church in Essen-Bergerhausen, where everyone was cordially invited.
Laughter, whispering, waving - the Christmas joy and excitement of the people in the church was almost tangible. In the greeting, the pastor wished everyone a relaxing Christmas season, that everyone comes back safely after the holidays and that their wishes and dreams for the New Year may come true.
We especially thank the Pax Christi Church in Essen-Bergerhausen and everyone else who was involved in the preparation and implementation of the service.
Visit from Santa Claus on December 23, 2021
Today, on 23.12.2021, Santa Claus visited us in our childcare. The children sang and danced with Santa Claus. Of course, our children also received presents from Santa Claus.
Meeting on December 7th, 2021 for the cooperation with the day care center VKJ Grimbergstr. SimSalaGrim
On 12/07/2021 also found a meeting in the day care center VKJ Grimbergstr. SimSalaGrim with the daycare manager Mrs. Hermann. This meeting was also about cooperation. Mrs Herman also showed us their many beautiful rooms. This day-care center also has a very well thought-out concept. Once again we were impressed by the great day care center. Now we are planning a trip to the Gruga with our children and many other activities will follow. The large day care center, which is spread over several buildings, is in a quiet location in Kray. In addition, it is also planned that our children can visit the daycare center and let off steam in the well-secured outdoor area of the daycare center. We are already looking forward to a good cooperation.
Meeting on cooperation on December 7th, 2021 with the Miniapolis daycare center
On 12/07/2021 a joint meeting took place in the Miniapolis daycare center with the daycare manager Ms. Grunwald.
The meeting was about the fact that our integration and education center would like to cooperate with the Miniapolis daycare center.
Ms. Grunwald presented the impressive day-care center concept to the rector or the educational director Adam Anders and the educator Ms. Gulai. In addition, Mrs. Grunwald showed us the great and lovingly furnished rooms for the children.
Ms. Grunwald and we decided to work together and support each other because the well-being of the children entrusted to us is very important to us.
Miniapolis is a place for research and wonder. Miniapolis is run according to the principle of education-oriented Reggio pedagogy. The careful and versatile support of children's inquisitiveness, curiosity and joy of learning is of central importance. The aim is to arouse the children's interest, particularly with regard to technology and natural sciences.
We are already looking forward to a good cooperation.
Vaccination campaign on December 4th, 2021
The integration and education center gUG has on 04.12.2021 carried out the first vaccination campaign and we are pleased that our vaccination offer was well received by teachers, educators from various schools and kindergartens and other people. In particular, we are pleased that we had enough vaccine so that no person had to be sent home without being vaccinated.
Now there are 2 more appointments, viz Saturday, December 11th, 2021 and Saturday, December 18th, 2021 , where we are happy to give those who want to be vaccinated the opportunity to make use of our vaccination offer.

Educational training/seminar from 13.11. - 14.11.2021
On 11/13/2021 and on 11/14/2021 a 2-day training course took place in the Alevi community in Essen.
The training went beyond the youth projects.
The speaker, Mr. Krümmel, gave us a detailed insight into youth work and funding.
The Diakoniewerk Essen organized this event.
At this point we would like to thank both the Alevi community in Essen and the Essen Diakoniewerk for the good organization and hospitality.
Exchange meeting with the Essen Volunteer Agency on November 12th, 2021
On 11/12/2021 a meeting for all interested volunteers, institutes, organizations and clubs took place in the new meeting center. The meeting and exchange was organized by Ms. Sturm and Ms. Mulatu from the volunteer agency in Essen.
Each organization had the opportunity to briefly introduce itself and to explain which areas of responsibility exist and where help or support is still needed. We would like to thank the volunteer agency for the great invitation and for giving us the opportunity to present our integration and education center gUG.
Visit on November 5th, 2021 from the Ministry for Children, Families, Refugees and Integration of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia
On 11/05/2021 visited the Ministry for Children, Families, Refugees and Integration of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia, the Paritätische and the Diakonie Essen our Syrian Culture and Integration e. V. as well as our gUG (integration and education center). On this day, the association was presented in full, including the presentation of videos created, and problems in our association work were also discussed.
For some time it has already become clear that the Syrian Culture and Integration e. V. is no longer only visited by Syrian people, but has become much more colorful. In the meantime, people from all over the world visit us, e.g. B. Lebanon, Afghanistan, Iran, Morocco, Libya, Tunisia, Algeria, Sudan, Egypt, Somalia, Ghana, Iraq, Jordan, Yemen, Syria and other countries.
Since the members of the association were reluctant to change the name, Adam Anders (founder of the gUG, managing director, rector and educational management) and Mario Anders (founder and managing director) decided to found a new company to ensure that no person feels excluded from the club name. Rather, the founding of the new society is intended to create a place for all people, regardless of the social, religious and cultural contexts they come from. It is important to us to develop a center where everyone is welcome and a lot is achieved together, e.g. B. to develop strategies against racism, to cover gaps in education, etc.
