Obligation to provide information under data protection law

Since the above-mentioned processing of personal data is voluntary, the legal basis for processing is your consent (Art. 6 lit. a EU GDPR). The deadlines of the administrative regulation in the currently valid version apply to the deletion of the data.


Your telephone numbers and e-mail addresses will be deleted by the Integration and Education Center Essen gUG two to ten years after leaving the facility with the student files.


Photos, video and sound recordings will be deleted from the homepage or posted in the house no later than 10 years after your child has left our educational institution. Alternatively, you have the right to revoke your consent at any time.


Only the user's messages are retained, but these can no longer be assigned within the application from the time of deletion. Your rights as a data subject As a person affected by the processing of personal data, you have the following rights: According to Article 7 Paragraph 3 EU-DSGVO, you can revoke your consent at any time to the rector or pedagogical head Adam Anders. As a result, the Integrations- und Bildungszentrum gUG is no longer allowed to continue the data processing based on this consent for the future.


Processing based on the consent given remains lawful until it is revoked. The revocation for the production of printed matter can only be done before the order is placed. You can request information about your personal data processed by us. The content and scope of the right to information is based on Article 15 EU GDPR. In accordance with Article 16 EU-DSGVO, you can request the correction of incorrect or completion of your personal data stored by us.


In accordance with Article 17 EU-DSGVO, you can request the deletion of your personal data stored by us, provided that the processing is not required due to legal obligations.


In accordance with Article 18 EU GDPR, you can request the restriction of the processing of your personal data if you dispute the accuracy of the data or the processing is unlawful. In accordance with Article 20 EU GDPR, you can receive your personal data, which you have provided to us with your consent and which we process automatically, in a structured, common and machine-readable format or request transmission to another person responsible (right to data portability). According to Article 21 EU-DSGVO, there is a right of objection, in particular with regard to the production of image and sound recordings. The right to object does not apply to data processing based on declarations of consent. According to Article 77 EU-DSGVO you can complain to a data protection supervisory authority.
